My wife is a teacher and for her, all that is done in one week spread out during the summer. The other 9 weeks are pure off time. Not to mention the additional 5 weeks of no school per year and the two weeks of PTO.
Organized and prepared teachers never complain about their "extra" work, because it isn't a problem compared to the perks they get.
