Looking to take the wife tomorrow in the Verret, Pigeon, spillway area. Just looking to put her on some bass or sacalait

You could probably find them in spillway. The water isn’t really moving but it’s low enough that you could fish lay downs and tree tops. I looked at the water on the inside 2 days ago and it was high and muddy. I think your best bet is the spillway

I haven't seen any good reports over the last few days since things warmed up the past couple of days. I am sure the fish are feeding, they probably just moved.
