There's certainly no shortage of history and things to do/see in that regard.

Obviously there is the Freedom Trail, and there are a number of bars that have historical significance along the route that you can stop in and have a drink (Bell in Hand and Green Dragon being the primary two).

Depending on when you come and what Phase we are in, the Boston Public Library is absolutely worth walking through for a bit. It's the country's first public library.

FYI, Governor Baker just announced today that beginning March 1, we are moving into Step 2 of Phase III, which includes the following:

Indoor performance venues such as concert halls, theaters, and other indoor performance spaces will be allowed to reopen at 50% capacity with no more than 500 persons

Indoor recreational activities with greater potential for contact (laser tag, roller skating, trampolines, obstacle courses) will be allowed to reopen at 50% capacity

Capacity limits across all sectors with capacity limits will be raised to 50% and exclude employees

Restaurants will no longer have a percent capacity limit and will be permitted to host musical performances; six-foot social distancing, limits of six people per table and 90 minute limits remain in place

Furthermore, it was announced that the Commonwealth may begin Phase IV as soon as March 22nd. So, good news!
