He may continue to play both but he isn’t going to ever be a solid contributor in baseball by focusing on football majority of the year. College baseball and especially the SEC is too good to do this anymore.
It’s not just the fall practices. He is also missing at bats by not playing summer ball that the rest of his teammates are getting while he is focusing on football.
