I can't believe no one has recommended Caymus. It is one of the only wineries that roll the tasting fee into credit towards buying bottles.

Most of the good wineries do this, if you ask. I am not a Caymus fan. Too much production and very little quality. I do like their Red Schooner Malbec - probably my favorite US Malbec (although grapes picked in Argentina).

Caymus is way too ff and overextracted but to each their own.

I think it is overpriced for what it is. People just buy it for name in my honest opinion
