I merely rejected the notion that they had no "choice" but to stay.

The video only shows part of the overall situation. We're all just speculating. I'm only saying it's far from clear that MMA baw should be without any culpability for what happened.
When these videos involve LEO misbehaving, everyone is constantly saying "WAIT UNTIL WE KNOW THE WHOLE STORY".
But magically here, we seem to be clairvoyant.
