Even Lindsey is so cheap, he doesn't want to become a member at the discount price of $200,000 and then pay $14,000 dues a year afterward. I'll bet there is also a required dining and clubhouse budget as well.
Lindsey goes for the golf. Nothing else. I had a Rep that owned his own golf course in New York and was a member of the local golf course in Clearwater, FL. $100,000 membership and $10,000 a year. He would set me up with a round anytime I wanted to go. When he was in town, he'd call the office and say "Tee time tomorrow at 9 are you in town?"
Got to have the right friends in the right places.
