There is a shortage of people going into trades and most of the ones that are have no work ethic. My son started as a plumbers helper right out of high school. Showed his boss early on he knew how to show up to work on time, pay attention and get shite done. Boss man is now paying for his apprenticeship and in a year when he gets his journeyman will bump his pay to $25/hr and buy him his own new truck and hire him a helper. He will be just shy of 22 with no college debt.
