I'm no Maxine Waters fan, but in this case, she is rightfully kicking arse! Robinhood, market makers, and hedgefunds fricked the retail investor.
Case in point, RH stopped it's customers from buying Gamestock(GME) but not selling. So, if I could sell, who was buying? Were the hedges, that they had a financial relationship with, allowed to buy?
I'm watching the hearing and this is very bipartisan. Both Dems and Rep are speaking, and asking questions that seem to be in the interest of the retail investor.

Because Robin Hood ran out of capital and couldn't make the transactions. This run up was so stupid I'm sure Robin Hood took a minute to figure out what was going on to make sure they weren't doing anything liable, as well.
