How about you look at the chronic delays and cost overruns of Southern Company's attempt to build a new reactor using Westinghouse that has well over $1B in cost overruns and still not finished and South Carolina pulled the plug on theirs over 2 years ago due to similar outcomes. Westinghouse is pathetic and hadn't built a reactor in 30+ years. There is no nuclear option, plus dealing with waste risks.

Almost all the delays caused by regulatory red tape. There is a nuclear option but the bed-wetting retards don't want it.
