Cuomo was ignorant, arrogant and stupid. He was clearly unaware of the strong early data on covid19 and its threat to old people. Given the early data from the Diamond Princess cruise ship, it was clear that covid killed old people. 3700 people were quarantined on that ship and seven elderly died. Then it got loose in a Washington state nursing home and it killed 40 residents. If the moron had been paying any attention he would never have ordered NY nursing homes to accept covid patients.
Gov. DeSantis in Florida did the opposite. He didn't lock down the state and he knew full well that he needed to keep covid isolated from the elderly and nursing homes.
