Power out...Gas Heater/Electric Blower

I didn't think of this until someone on Facebook mentioned it but if your heater is gas, the blower is 110v and can plug right into the generator. Luckly we have battery powered thermostats too. We now have heat!

I have a 8000W and run my 120V to my dryer plug. I turn my main breaker off and turn on what I want to run. My hot water heater is electric. I can run it by itself if nothing else is running. Much easier to do this than running a bunch of extension cords into the house.

Most cars have a 110v outlet nowadays. Just run an extension cord to your vehicle and you are good to go.
