What’s strange about it? They should.

People cheer for their teams. The players constantly change but the team (for the most part) stays.

I'm not talking about pelicans siding with their team over Davis type situation.
I'm talking about that sport's fans in general.

I mean, I definitely get what he's saying. THere is a double standard in how we normally talk about managers/owners vs employees in a normal setting vs how we do the same in a sports setting.

But being pro player does not mean you take the players side on every single argument. Sometimes they're wrong, like Draymond here.
