A small plastic box with a 75 watt bulb inside is what I have on all 3 hose bibs. Been doing this for a few years. Light bulb puts off plenty of heat to keep hose bib from freezing. Just get a closet light fixture (plastic is fine... either are less than $2 at Home Depot) and cut off an extension cord and attached it to the fixture. Mount fixture inside the plastic box with zip ties instead of screws. Set box against house and hold it in place somehow. Plug it in and you are good to go for a night or a week.
If you have a 110V car worklight with a hook or the clamp this will work fine also. Has to be an incandescent light... NOT LED.

Have hot and cold side by side outside!
