I'd think most people who use a gym/workout center are there for an hour or less per visit. Is it really necessary to feel the need for a phone in that little bit of time.

I get what you are saying when I was going to a bigger gym I used to carry my phone so I could listen to my music.
Now I am at a smaller gym and my headphones have enough range to link to my phone that I leave in the locker area
