Off hours power will be stored in hydrogen tanks, hydro generation ponds, or vanadium/lithium batteries. I've invested in the vanadium battery solution.
How many batteries will it take to store peak 700million KWH?

I'm not either for or against green power. If the MARKET and not the GOV'T decides it's the best solution, then so be it. There are a lot of very smart people working on making it a viable solution. Again, the only care I have in who wins and loses in this game is strictly financial. I've bet on the VRFB being the storage medium of choice for the solar and wind farms of the future.
