Boycott Businesses that Fund Cassidy

Money talks, bullshite (Twitter, FB, Calls to Congressional Offices) Walk.
Let's expose Cassidy's political ENABLERS.
Let's see what they have to tell their customers, who may not buy from them if they knew.
You want to hurt a politician, take away their money.

They might feel betrayed just like you do.
Makes more sense to tell them not to continue donating.

Good idea. You compile a list of businesses and people and you post it.

so, IF you were playing by the democRat rules you would make a list of the people around him and in the words of Maxine:
quote:
If you see them "in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. You push back on them. Tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere!"
I'm not calling for that, just pointing out that that is how a democRat would handle it.

I am sure that many do, and compiling a list of businesses which donated to him in 2020 and before would not be indicative of their agreement with his recent sharp turn to the swamp side.
He was just kind of a weird fricker before this, which reeks of him screaming for attention, which is still weird.

His biggest contributors are the employers of nearly all the wives and many of the posters on this board. Ochsner and numerous other health care industries.

Let them all say how they feel about Cassidy. You won't hear a peep from Ochsner or any other medical group regarding Cassidy.
Lot's of contributors out there who should have made the call to Cassidy before this went sideways.
Believe it or not, some people can actually call a U.S. Senator and speak to them without ponying up the usual $5,000 per call. BTW, that's a real number, not more made up bullshite.
Cassidy is a prime example of how the Peter Principle exposes someone and we all learn they are really nothing but spineless ego driven sheeple.

It’s a good start but sounds like he is not running again. I think you have to threat to vote out every republican especially on a national level till he is no long in office . That would make his backers scared that he would cost them everything.
Posted on 2/14/21 at 9:06 am to Original Bayou Boy
Why? You helped put him in office. You reap what you sow.

I can’t believe anybody believes voting matters after what we saw in 2020. Our “ leaders” are placed for us very have no say.

What policies does he support that you disagree with?

I question his judgment in total now. How do you convict someone in a show trial? He is no better than a member of the Politburo clapping wildly in Moscow while dissenters rot in Siberian Gulags. His point of view isn't Main Street, it's K Street. He is now a full fledged Swamp Creature.
What he once was is not what he is this morning.

I am ashamed to have voted for this man.
He has become Mary Landrieu. He said, she "got elected and fell into partisan politics... Louisiana hasn't left Mary, Mary has left us." I could say he has done the same, but both were Democrats. Swampy Bill supported Michael Dukakis for president in 1988, donated to Senator Paul Tsongas's 1992 presidential campaign, donated to Mary’s 2002 senate campaign, and to Louisiana Democrat Governor Kathleen Blanco in 2003 and 2004. But Mary was honorable enough to stay a Democrat. He pretended to be GOP to advance his swampy political career in an increasingly GOP state.
However I will not boycott businesses that do business with him, because the business of business is business, not politics.
I abhor crony capitalism when business enters politics, and I find cancel culture when politics enters business equally repulsive.
I will oppose Bill “Swamp Thing” Cassidy till my dying breath.

So you don't care about his policies? This is very emotional, you all are DEMs.

The policy that if someone is unpopular in Washington DC, they deserve to be stripped of their Due Process and First Amendment rights.
His acquittal vote was fricking idiotic and based on nothing but presumably a promise by Turtle that he would put him in some kind of leadership position. Which fricking gross enough in and of itself. However, the vote that said this moronic show trial was somehow constitutional should be an affront to every American.
He voted to convict Trump because he was guilty. Guilty of what you fricking Uniparty Tyrant? And proven to what standard?

You're so emotional.
You all love straight party voting unless it's the DEMs.
