Orgeron: Myles Brennan 'looks like he's full speed right now'

"Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron told WWL’s Bobby Hebert and Kristian Garic Tuessday that Brennan has looked healthy in workouts.
'Yeah, he looks full go right now,' Orgeron said. 'We're only going through walkthrough right now, but he's in the weight room. He’s doing everything that the team does. He's throwing with the team after when the coaches are not on the field. He looks like he's full speed right now.'
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound passer out of Mississippi completed 60 percent of his passes for 1,112 yards and 11 touchdowns against three interceptions in LSU’s first three games."
Finally, we get a word on Myles Brennan. It took about 6 months for him to recover from a non-surgery injury, but he's fine now.

People who think Max Johnson beats out Myles are high as giraffe pussy.

This would be good news. There were rumors the injury might never heal so this would be surprising

If he's truly a full go then one of either Max or TJ is gone

Entire OL and RBs returning with Myles Brennan may be killer
Now can we just have an above average defense

Really don’t know anything until he puts pads on and actually takes a hit. Which wont happen until the first game

I really like LSUs qb situation at the moment. Having Myles back and knowing we have winning backups has been a scarce commodity for a long long time.

Him being able to participate on the field in spring practice is huge with a new OC. Now we will have a legit QB battle, which is exactly what we want. 4 good to great QBs pushing each other hard to get that job.

It's going to be hard to keep Goodwin off the field.

They both came to LSU knowing that Brennan was likely a two year starter. The fact that either played at all was a surprise.
There is no way Max transfers, because he will likely be a backup.
If TJ transfers, it will be because he's third behind a guy his own age. Not because of Brennan.

Logical thought does not exist on this board. We went a week with people claiming Finley would be the starting QB this season

Max isn't going to leave, he is going to be Myles's number 1 competition in the spring (not a slight to TJ at all, Max has shown more game readiness at this point in his career). I think it'll be a closer competition then people think because Max has the "it" factor, but ultimately this is going to be Brennan's team next year.

Max already showed more poise than Brennan as a freshman. Brennan has the better arm but i expect to see those happy feet in the pocket again after the injury.

I love this, just for the fact that it will create competition for all 3/4 qb's, kinda getting excited for the spring ball

So if the impossible happens, you will be here to say you were wrong?
I'm not saying Max Beats Brennan but its not impossible and with a new OC, Brennan coming off an injury that had the medical staff lost it seems. No telling how he performs.
I wouldn't out money on Max winning out but I also wouldn't say with any certainty that it won't happen

"This defense looks better now than it did at any point last year"
I'll wait to see it with my own two eyes...

You are overrating Mikes Brennan.
If Brennan is significantly ahead of Max Johnson by the beginning of the year, then Brennan has made a leap forward since the injury, and Max hasn’t progressed since the ending of the year.
