More commenting on the widespread comments here about the erosion of joy in sports, the politics, etc. The Jenner moment was a milestone in all of this in my mind. At that moment ESPN declared they were all in.

Wasn't ESPN's call - that was all Disney/ABC fulfilling their end of a negotiation to land the first interview she had post-transition. ESPN was just a high profile public bargaining chip in one of the most insane, pointless bidding wars in history.
Why blame ESPN when you can rightfully blame the people who proved they would watch Jenner get interviewed by anyone who no reason but morbid curiosity.

Yep. It had been coming up to that point, but that's when the "Worldwide leader" jumped the shark. Been total shite SJW pandering ever since.
