Credit Card Fraud

Looks like I became a victim (again) of some credit card fraud.
Person decided to use my credit card to by them a $400 apple watch. Luckily, I've bought stuff from apple with this card before, so I received a text saying that my item had shipped. Obviously I didn't order anything this go around.
No other charges. Found out it was being shipped to a local address, so unlikely to be a online compromise. My money is on the local food truck I had recently as being the culprit.
I was able to place a hold on the order as they tried to overnight their shipment. Obvi locked/canceled the credit card. I went ahead a filed a police report as well, since I at least had an residential address they were shipping it to. Maybe the savannah metro PD can do some work.
Any chance I find some sweet sweet justice?

Maybe. Do you have the address?

I do. I submitted it with the police report. It's a residential address.
now they addressed the package to me at that address, so I don't have a name. They also created a fake hotmail account to place the order.

...so post the address

Unlikely IMHO. It's happened twice to me, and both times the credit card company said they wouldn't bother with charges. The first time it happened the idiot paid their cell phone bill with my card.

Id post this to 4chan with the address, they'll probably order a few thousands things there

You're unlikely to get actual justice. Petty revenge is good though. Post it

FWIW, I did some sleuthing. Seems like it's just a rental. The property is owned by a LLC/Trust.
Google comes up with a Evelyn Cabrera as the potential person that lives at that address, but can't find anything on facebook/online that would confirm that person as being the culprit.

You could meet them at the address. Bring Sonic.

how come your bank does not give you an alert each time a charge is run

Probably not by the card company or the police. Got any friends who like to play with matches?

yes. residential. yes.

As an aside. I requested Apple to put a stop delivery on it. As a backup, I was able to have FedEX re-route the shipment to a FedEx office to hold it there instead.

Nice. I love when these folks screw with someone paying attention

It's my main credit card. I think I would get tired if they alerted me for every charge. With that said, I should probably place a setting to alert me on charges above $x amount.
Luckily it's the only fraudulent charge that was made when I caught it. Card's been locked and reported.
