Go LPVO. Hunting (accuracy) will be difficult with a red dot at further distances. Red dots are meant to shed weight. If it’s a home defense gun or a lightweight build, go red dot.
I have a Vortex Sparq and a Strike eagle 1-6. The Sparq is really lightweight and I love it for that but when shooting the Strike Eagle, you will not notice the weight.
