Trump's own pollster came out with a study after the election that showed Trump lost bigly with white voters compared to 2016 and the gains he made with hispanics and other minorities was nowhere near enough to make it up.
I was hammering home the point back in June that Trump was losing white voters and minority gains were not going to be enough to win.

Trump was doing stupid things like this at the GOP convention and it was the complete opposite of what he ran on in 2016 that his base in the white working class wanted which was less legal immigration from 3rd world shitholes, not just the illegal kind being stopped.
