Universal ballot mailing is not an inherently bad idea. Washington has been doing it for almost a decade with no major fraud claims. 4 other states have followed them. With the right security measures in place and trained staff, there is no reason to fear it.

What was dangerous, though, was all these states that expanded mail in voting in 2020 without having the staff, training, and security measures in place to make it trustworthy. Not one single state contacted the Washington SoS to ask what works and what doesn't. They just jumped right in, knowing the election was going yo be contentious.

Universal ballot mailing is the future, but the States need to educate the public on security measures so the results can be trusted.
