I’m a very big Liverpool soccer fan and it is very common to see the mindset of “We’re Scouse not English” around the fan base. Pretty sure in the past not many of them rooted for the England national team but I get the vibe that’s kinda changed lately with the younger core of the National team (and the fact that Liverpool has some players on it )
