I never understand why people feel the need to say that. If you believe in truth and facts, you are definitely on one side and not the other (hint: facts are not on the left). You might not affiliate with the Republican Party because of how they betrayed us. We pretty much all feel that way. But those politicians aren't true right wingers.
Left and right are terms that were once used to describe whether you were more liberal or conservative in your ideology. If you're neither, than what are you? A unicorn?
Everything about this Tom MacDonald guy screams conservative. Why not just admit it?
