Who would you want to play Terry McGinnis in a live action Batman Beyond?

With Keaton coming back for The Flash and Batman Beyond being on HBO I have seen a few post on here talking about the possibility of this happening.

Imo it needs to be done as movie/movies and not as a series. My biggest fear for this show is that they fricked it up by focusing too much on some romantic angle or casting a teenager that's more known for being tik tok famous than being a good actor. By far my favorite animated batman series. Remember having rebirth 1/2 taped on VHS and watching them on repeat for about a month as a kid before I found the rest of the VHS tapes. I just really hope they get it right.

For me I picture the first movie being the origin story so Rebirth 1/2 and follow the main story of season one involving Derek Powers but I may be a little influenced by the nostalgia on that one. If its done as a tribology I would guess they would likely do The Return of the Joker as the second movie then True Lineage as the final. That would mean whoever plays McGinnis needs to be someone who can play down and up in age and not look ridiculous.

Who I could see playing Terry McGinnis:

Dacre Montgomery: Could definitely see him playing this role and give it that dark tone that the animated series has. Only thing I would say would be an issue is that I could also see him playing a really good villain.




Dylan O'Brien: If you haven't seen Love and Monsters you should check that out, pretty entertaining.




Taron Egerton: This would all depend on his American Accent. I honestly have no idea if it's any good.



Tye Sheridan: I'm sure most of you have seen Ready Player One. I think he would fit the part pretty well





Ansel Elgort: Not at the top of the list but I could see it.
