If there ever was a year to trade your 1st round pick wouldn’t this be the ideal year?

With no combines or pro days and no face to face meetings it’s going to be very hard for scouts and coaches to do their jobs correctly. So if there is a player, particularly a vet QB that can be had with that 1st round pick I say that’s a good deal. I wonder if our first and maybe a 3rd next year would be enough to get Stafford. That way you don’t waste the team that’s already built to win championships now on a rookie that will need a year or two to get fully comfortable in the offense. Has there been any word what the Lions are seeking in return? Stafford would an ideal guy for Sean because I’m sure he’d like to push the ball downfield more Ike he could do with Drew in those first 10 years together. Stafford will always have a strong arm even as he ages.

You want to trade a first and 3rd on a 32 year old qb that hasn’t been very good in the last five years while already being super cap strained. Not to mention that he is made of glass. He came off an injury last year but looked pretty bad. Doesn’t leave a whole lot of optimism

I dont think we need to. This would be a good year to pull another 2017 draft and get some good players on the cheap
