How’s that? I’m assuming it’s a proofed down 10 year Elijah Craig? I have some 8 year proofed down (115 proof) Elijah Craig in my decanter right now. Mine started out as an entirely too hot and sharp 130 proof single barrel. It’s an oak bomb at 115 proof, which is pretty wild for only 8 years.

It’s for sure got the Heaven Hill profile. Feels,like it tries to walk a balance between the big caramel note from some old school ECBP and the spicier side of some of,the newer ECBP releases. Drinks slightly above the proof on the finish. A good example,of a modern bourbon that hits all the notes. Price is a bit prohibitive, wish it was $99.
