I get that these are private businesses but at what point do they have to follow the damn law
In the future, though... take the mask, put it on your child, then when you get past the "check in lady", just take it off your child.

Private business, private decisions.
However I would say if your child can't wear a mask, leave him or her home. It will just save a headache and people complaining.
