I think they'll end up making it above $15 in states that have a more expensive COL. Sure, some states might be able to afford some food and rent or live with the parents at $10-$12 an hour, but don't we want these people to be able to buy those necessities and then save for college or save up and do more to boost the economy? Giving someone just enough to survive is never the answer.

Don't we want? Sure. But at what expense. And the fact that it really won't help them much, but really just pull more people down, it's retarded.
