So you are saying Jones is as qualified as Joe Brady, Glen Schumann, Zach Arnette and Ryan Nielsen since neither of them like Jones were former coordinators yet were slobbered over by people at TD. Man the love they got here was embarrassing. And you are wrong about Jones he was DC at Bowie State. He was also assistant HC at Hawaii. He was also DC at Jenerette and Franklin High. None of those other 3 were DC's anywhere.
Jones may not only the best choice but the perfect choice.

he's much more qualified than Joe Brady
but, Joe Brady wasn't given the full reigns. he installed a ton of packages and concepts and called plays within them, but it was always under E. E is still really great at off-field things like film breakdown and things like that, that Brady wasn't experienced in. he also had an established leadership position and respect/trust of the offense
i hope Jones can turn out to be great like Brady but it's not really a comparable situation
