It's not attention span. It's that the GOPe leadership purposely forces a choice between a hard-core Dem and a GOPe candidate. They use RNC funding to prop up their guy and he pretends to be a reasonable Conservative. So, conservative-minded people reluctantly vote for the GOPe candidate as the lesser of two evils. The GA runoff shows the limits of this GOPe strategy.

I think many people now realize both parties are selling us out so this cycle will be interesting -- especially the primaries. Will we push for change? Or, forget these lessons and accept the well-funded GOPe candidate.

This is what I'm talking about. Also the Trump factor and who he backs and do his supports still follow his lead or do they stay home and give the Dems the win. No matter how you look at it the GOPe has made a bad gamble by joining in with the fringe left in the name of "unity".
