Unfortunately, most conservatives/Republicans have notoriously short attentions spans.
There's also the fact of the uniparty. It's a heads we win, tails you lose scenario. Assuming conservatives bow out for ten years and don't vote, what does this country look like?
They manufactured a stolen election without even a serious candidate. They did it right in front of us. They were all paid up on the right people. They knew exactly how Trump would respond. And got away with it.
They knew what they were doing. And no, they're not stupid. They're just on the other side and playing us.

It's not attention span. It's that the GOPe leadership purposely forces a choice between a hard-core Dem and a GOPe candidate. They use RNC funding to prop up their guy and he pretends to be a reasonable Conservative. So, conservative-minded people reluctantly vote for the GOPe candidate as the lesser of two evils. The GA runoff shows the limits of this GOPe strategy.
I think many people now realize both parties are selling us out so this cycle will be interesting -- especially the primaries. Will we push for change? Or, forget these lessons and accept the well-funded GOPe candidate.
