Try 4% tax increase for households making over $100k. That is what Kamala wants, among other tax increases.

So two parents making 50, and 51k a year with 2 children should pay 4% more in taxes?
If that's the case then all benefits, discounts, care, snap etc, should be considered as income for those who benefit from these tax raises.
Futhermore, why not some accountability - everyone on any form of assistance has to meet with a career development agency and show what they are doing to better their financial situation. Should also be explicit disqualifiers from aid, i.e. purchasing a new cell phone instead of a recycled one, purchasing a new vehicle instead of a used one, or one stamped with approval to be purchased by those on benefits, etc.
The most common thing benefits currently do is allow people in poverty to continue to make bad decisions and purchase things that wealthier people have instead of using the money to better themselves.
