Most of America played by the rules. I would imagine that it was a really small percentage of the population that cheated their asses off.
I mean, honestly, what could have been done to change the outcome? The fix was in imho.
Saying we deserve this is like saying the 90 year old lady deserved to be mugged and beaten to death because she went out to buy milk in the broad daylight.
