Nothing like being in your 40s and not realizing your reaction time is more than 3 times what is was in your 20s. I joined a baseball league at 43. The league was suppose to be for over 40s guys, but due to low enrollment they let a bunch of 20 year olds in. It is unsettling to realize if a ball is hit right at your face by one of these 220 pound 20 year olds you wouldn't even have time to flinch. Not enjoyable at all.

Yeah, I can't imagine trying to field a scorcher off an aluminum bat with crazy top spin at the hot corner right now. 15 years ago? Maybe. But that could get really ugly taking one to the shin or the eye.
