quote:
Or you could recognize that it looks nothing like the Hunger Games symbol. Then you could listen to the person who wore it when she stated she was trying to send a message of peace to a very divided country. "A dove carrying an olive branch," Gaga wrote. "May we all make peace with each other."
Then just Google “peace dove” and realize it looks exactly like what she said.
Or I can realize that one image can be used to send multiple messages. Gaga doesn't arbitrarily decide her outfits. Her look today was done on purpose.
If peace and unity is the only message, she would not have chosen red and black as the colors. This isn't difficult.

You are grasping. Per the designer:
“designed by Daniel Roseberry: a fitted jacket in navy cashmere, a skirt in washed red silk faille, and a giant gilded dove of peace brooch.”
It was red and blue...a stylized version of two colors on our flag plus a peace dove.
Personally, I thought it was over the top for the event, but y’all seem to have to make alternate facts over everything. The person who designed the dress and the person who wore the dress are on record as to the meaning. And the peace dove looks nothing like the mockingjay pin.
I’ve never seen ask many people twisting known facts to fit a preconceived narrative.
