The increase in murders LA was lower than most of other big cities in the country.

Looking at this table I'm stunned by a couple. Memphis and Boston. Memphis because they're tiny compared to a place like LA and have almost as many homicides. Boston, because it's much larger than many on the list and have relatively few

Then, there's Houston. May as well call y'all the LA of Texas.

Damn that chart is rough. NOLA, Houston, and Nashville all doing significantly worse than L.A. My city is up almost double this year.
