No, you’re right, they’re more absurd than that(and you seem to have found a space not just carrying your argument but defending everyone else’s now too, so unless you want to prove otherwise, your continuing defense of those other posters suggests you agree).

Like demanding we lower his ceiling as a player because he isn’t showing elite defense 35 games into his career.

Cherry picking 20-30 seconds of Zion’s college career and using that as a basis to make outlandish claims about his physical limitations.

Claiming he’s a disappointment offensively because he doesn’t magically have a jump shot yet, and before the other night, because he can’t even drive the ball(which only looks ridiculous now).

Contorting a historical trajectory into not doing enough to prove himself yet.

...The board’s smug Zion truthers and doubters is a weird niche some of you all want to carve out for yourselves. Especially in the face of Zion demonstrating such rapid growth, even game to game. I’ve never said Zion is a lock to be a top 5 player, let alone top player, but some of you all wanting to write him off in these ways, with some of these absurd arguments, is just ridiculous.

The other nonsense you posted was all points I never made, but thanks for wasting all that time typing them out, I guess.

Textbook strawman argument. Legit textbook.
