I think the "free year" was a great idea in theory, but it also seemed like it was a cluster freak to a certain degree. I haven't read anything about this coming up year in terms of eligibility. Are all college athletics reverting back to the old rules, keeping the same rules currently in place or is there going to be another special set of rules for next year considering games are still be cancelled almost daily?

What about 85?
If your giving free year you have to allow bigger roster like baseball

No need to worry about 85 as an LSU fan, we won’t even be close

Any seniors who elect to come back next season won’t count toward the 85 scholarship limit

There’s no required ACT qualifications. So some junior hammered online classes to graduate early too. It didn’t affect any of our recruits.

All returning seniors don’t count towards the 85.

LSU will be at the self imposed 81 limit.

Currently there are around 6-8 returning seniors who will not count towards the limit.

With a 25 class, we will be at 75-80 scholarships depending on who else returns.

Only hard rule from the NCAA... BLM and white privilege is the root of all evil.

Actually... if we get the rest of the veterans to return... we may actually hit 81 which is our limit for next year

There's a thread on the recruiting board listing our players for next year.

Or you can look up LSU 247 recruiting and look up "scholarship distribution" and it'll show you who we have / project to have on the roster.
