The thing about Adams is he's playing really well. If we decide he doesn't fit we should be able to flip him and get back in the ball park of what we paid to acquire him.
I don't have a problem trying to win now considering where BI is, but it should be done with long term pieces. Like had Lonzo worked out as the #3 that would change things a lot, but he hasn't so finding those other pieces needs to be the priority over winning.

Adams presence is critically important for Hayes. The skills he'll learn from Adams will be invaluable to his career development. If Hayes minutes goes up that will directly affect Adams minutes. That's a good balance to have.
