My other pup is struggling a bit today. I think the permanence of the situation is starting to set in. But she’s laying right next to me and just sleeping and hanging out. She got a bath for the first time in a long time and we played fetch for a bit. I think she will be alright long term. Especially when we get her a new companion to keep her busy.

I bought two BMC's a year ago, male and a female, so I could raise pups one day. The female got bit by a snake and died this past summer. It took several weeks for the male to get over her being gone. Anytime I'd ask him where's Lulu, he'd look at her kennel. I got lucky and bought another female right a way and he bonded with her.
