For me, it's all about the neck. Therefore, so it's hard for me to recommend because like any guitar I must put in my hand and play and I usually know right away if it "feels right".

When I was looking for my first acoustic in the $300 range I went to the store and played a few in that price range and as soon as I played the Ibanez... I knew it was the one.

I also learned at that time that if I ever got in the $600-800 range I wanted a Taylor which eventually led me to the 110e.

fwiw ...I lucked into the Custom GS as I bought it off an old lady that needed cash to fix her AC!!
