While watching video of Jones, Irvin did come to mind to be honest. He is the best looking WR I have seen in a while as far as having size, strength and speed.
Thank God we have Peterson. I imagine they will get the best of each other for the next 3 yrs.
Jones is a man. Dont discount him at all. Dont be blinded by your hate for Bama to see what kind of talent Jones really is. He's a stud.

The top reciever in the nation coming out of high school he past several years is

Percy Havin
Patrick Turner
Early Doucet
Andre Caldwell
Ryan Moore
All pretty good but to say he will be an all American is a stretch befor he has seen a single snap. To compare him to a 3 time Super Bowl champ and a first ballot hall of famer is severely premature.

Irvin was also the hardest working player on his team every year. Ask Troy Aikman about it. He wasn't just all talent and strength. He was a true competitor. It remains to be seen if Julio has that same work ethic.

Howard Stern once said he was the most deserving actor in Hollywood because he had to sleep with Roseanne to make it as an actor. What an acting job huh?
If he can pull off being in love with Roseanne, I guess he thinks he can pull of being a football talent evaluator.
