Marxists don't believe in individual liberty and the don't have a First Amendment. They do have a long history of mass murder, gulag slave camps, repression of every kind and failed economics resulting in misery and want for everyone except the party bosses.
In the Soviet era, if Russians saw a line, they would get into it even not knowing what was at the other end because no matter what it was they knew it would be something the needed or something they could trade for something they needed.
