I think the soundtrack and the opening sequence get talked about a lot.

It's surprising to me that Mara's career didn't really take off after this. I don't know if she consciously took smaller artsy stuff or what, but she seemed destined for the A list and it just didn't happen.

fincher is the man, but i don't think sony was interested in doing more with him.

i am a big fan of the books and this version. too bad they didn't do more, i just don't think it made enough $$$.
