Linebacker coach (Josh Allen) when he joined Cats in 2018. 2019 first year defensive coordinator with UK finishing 4th in the league and not allowing 30 points in a single game. 2020 UK finished 5th and led the league in takeaways. Rumored to be the finalist with Freeman for the ND job.

White, Reeves, and Arnette should be finalists for our DC position if Nielsen turns out to be uninterested.
All of those guys would be very good choices to run our defense, and any of them are much better then Kris Richard.

That's not how it works. Pick one until he accepts or turns us down and then move on.

I know how this will be received, but he isn't interested because he doesn't think his personality fits with Coach O.
