The intention of the protestors was to delay the counting of electoral votes and intimidate them counting the votes differently from the votes cast by the state electors in December, which would be illegal had Congress done it. The intention was to have different President inaugurated in 2 weeks. They had stun guns, zip ties, with them, had tied nooses outside. If that's not a coups, what is it?

So running into the building with stun guns and nooses was supposed to overtake trained people with guns?
