Coach having a hard time benching a vet for a rookie. Happens in every sport.

It's a lot easier to do in a rebuild, which is what we're supposed to be doing.

Also, it's not like Lonzo is some established player that warranted playing time based on reputation.

No it doesn't. It only happens with ignorant coaches who hold on to some archaic code that rookies need to be seen and not heard. Remember Byron Scott? How'd that turn out for us.

That's what you get when you hire a tired old mediocre retread for a coach.

So far all I've seen from David Griffin is he's able to make no brainer trades, but is suspect at drafting players or hiring coaches.

Three strait losses AT HOME in games your winning in the 4th quarter is a coaching issue. Period. If the Pelicans win just 2 of those games they'd be 1 game out of the top spot in the West. Now they head on the road for 7. They don't win at least 3 of those games they will be in a hole again just like last year.

Wake up and stop listening to these fan bloggers y'all worship.
