He came to LSU several times to help raise money for baseball program when Bertman asked
Big friend of PM as well

Wonder if they let him go home so he could die at home?

A great manager and just an overall great guy... 71 years with the Dodgers.... amazing.... RIP....

Came to my high school in little ole Caledonia , Ms to speak and bring signed memorabilia so we could raise money for lights on the field in ‘86 . Great guy and ambassador for the sport
